Total Orders: 1,234
Average Order Value: $36.65

```
### Key Performance Indicators
Monitor these essential metrics:
### Visual Analytics
Interactive charts show:
## 4. Understand Key Metrics
### Revenue vs. Profit
Understanding the difference is crucial:
**Revenue** = Total sales before fees and costs
**Profit** = Revenue - Marketplace Fees - COGS - Shipping
Example calculation:
```typescript
const calculateProfit = (order: Order) => {
const revenue = order.totalAmount;
const fees = revenue * 0.15; // 15% marketplace fee
const cogs = order.units * order.costPerUnit;
const shipping = order.shippingCost;
return revenue - fees - cogs - shipping;
};
```
### Product Performance
Identify your stars and underperformers:
| Metric | Good | Needs Attention |
| -------------- | ---------- | --------------- |
| Profit Margin | >30% | <10% |
| Stock Turnover | <30 days | >90 days |
| Return Rate | <5% | >15% |
| Reviews | >4.5 stars | <4.0 stars |
## 5. Set Up Your First Alert
Stay informed about important changes:
1. Navigate to **Settings** → **Alerts**
2. Click **Create Alert**
3. Choose a condition:
- Revenue drops by X%
- Product goes out of stock
- Return rate exceeds threshold
4. Select notification method (email, SMS)
5. Click **Save**
